Hélicoptère de combat moderne, conçu en coopération par la France et l'Allemagne et destinés à remplacer les Gazelles Françaises et BO 105 allemands (dérivé d'hélicoptères civils) trop vulnérables et limités dans leurs capacités et puissances de feu au combat.
Au départ conçu pour la lutte anti-char, le Tigre dispose en plus de capacité d'appui rapproché des troupes , de destruction de blindés légers et est même capable de détruire des hélicoptères adverses grâce à son agilité et à son canonde 20mm. Il peut même détruire des avions de combat survolants le champ de bataille, grâce à ses 4 missiles sol-air.
Modern armed helicopter, conceived in cooperation by France and Germany and intended to replace the French Gazelles and German BO 105 (derived of civil helicopters) too vulnerable and limited in their capacities and fire powers on battlefield.
At first conceived for the antitank fight, the Tiger has besides capacity of support moved closer to the troops, to the destruction of light armored cars and is even capable of destroying opposite helicopters with suppleness and 20mm gun. He can even destroy combat aircraft top of battlefield, with 4 surface-to-air missiles.

- HAP (appui-protection avec roquettes, canon et missiles air-air) pour la France
- HAD (appui-destruction avec roquettes, canon, missile anti-char et missiles sol-air) pour l' Espagne.
- UHT pour l'Allemagne (Antichar avec missiles anti-char et missiles sol-air)
- ARH pour l'Australie (Armed Reconnaissance Helicopter)proche de la version HAD.
This helicopter exists in version:
- HAP (support-protection with rockets, gun and air-air missiles air-air) for France
- HAD (support-destruction with rockets, gun, antitank missile and air-air missiles) for Spain.
- UHT for Germany (Antitank with antitank missiles and sol-air missiles )
- ARH for Australia (Armed Reconnaissance Helicopter) close to the version HAD.
