Cet appareil est dans la catégorie avions civils, car il porte sur le côté une immatriculation civile et qu'il appartient à la NASA , l'agence spatiale civile américaine, qui utilise ces T-38 pour l'entraînement de ces astronautes et en temps que chasseur d'accompagnement de la navette spatiale durant sa phase d'atterrissage , au retour des missions !
This device is in the category civil planes, because it concerns the side a civil registration and because it is up to the NASA, the American civil space agency, which uses these T-38 for the training of these astronauts and as accompaniment plane of the space shuttle during its phase of landing, on the return to the missions!

Il sert également à accompagner les prototypes de la NASA, durant leurs vols d'essais !
Le T-38 (biplace) à servi ensuite à la conception du chasseur léger économique monoplace F-5A, puis F-5E et enfin F-20 Tigershark dans les années 90 ! Il faut que le F-5 a ensuite été dériver en version biplace F-5B !
It also serves for accompanying the prototypes of the NASA, during their trial flights!
(Two-seater) T-38 in been of use then to the conception of the light economic single fighter F-5A, then F-5E and finally F-20 Tigershark in the 90s! F-5 has then to be to derive in two-seater version F-5B!

Difficulty levels

On this website, you will find lots of models with different building / construction difficulty levels.

The difficulty level depends on the number of pieces, shapes, final model size, etc.

You'll find on each model tittle a number from 1 to 5, that's the difficulty level (1 = easy, 5 = very difficult). I rarely speak about exact working time, because you should take your time if you want your model to be well done. If you make a mistake on the assembly, you can print a new draw and do it again ! 

- level 1: the easiest models ! Characters or simple vehicles / vessels. Working time between 5 to 30 minutes.

- level 2: medium size models (about 15 cm). Working time between 30 minutes to 1h30 for some vehicles. These models often include some pieces of cardboard.

                      

 

- level 3: corresponds to elaborated models. The working time will be from 1:30 till 2 hours. The first cardboard internal reinforcements begin to appear.

- level 4: medium-size elaborated models. Those models are more difficult to build because it will be necessary to create cardboard reinforcements in the model. Level 4 also corresponds to models with articulated elements (articulated legs, wings ...) The working time will be of 2 hours minimum.

       

- level 5: corresponds to large-sized vessels. There are not necessarily plans (draws) of every construction piece, just some 3 views draws. Models of level 5 sometimes requires to work with other materials such as wood, balsa wood... The working time will be of 5 hours minimum till 10 hours

      

(3) Sopwith Camel

Le Camel fut un chasseur redoutable qui pemit aux pilotes britanniques d'affronter avec succès n'importe lequel de leurs adversaires pendant la première guerre mondiale. L'avion n'était cependant pas fait pour les débutants. Seuls les meilleurs aviateurs étaient capables de le maîtriser. Les défauts du Camel en faisaient sa force. Grâce à l'hélice, au moteur et à l'armement, tous placés très en avant, il était très maniable en combat aérien.
The Camel was a redoubtable fighter which pemits to the British pilots to face successfully with all their opponents during Worl War I. The plane wasn't however made for the beginners. Only the best pilots were able to control it. The defects of Camel made its strength. Thanks to the helix, the engine and the armament, all installed very forward, it was very easy to handle in air battle.

CONSIGNES DE CONSTRUCTION :
- Les haubans de voilure, au milieu et les haubans support de train d'atterrissage doivent être fait avec de la feuille plastique !
- Je suggère d'assembler les toutes pièces ensemble et de finir par le capot avant du moteur , puis par poser l'hélice !

BUILDINGS INSTRUCTIONS :
- The buckle shrouds, in the middle and the shrouds support of landing gear must be made with the plastic sheet!
- I suggest to assemble any pieces together and to finish by putting the front engine hood, and then the helix!
